
Maharishi Dayanand, intelligent, experienced and courageous with the conviction of a crusader led to the establishment of D.A.V movement in 1886 at Lahore in the form of a D. A.V. School. Taking this as an orientating peak, the followers of Arya Samaj established D.A.V. College Managing Committee in order to provide quality education. The Managing Committee is a conglomeration of about 650 Schools and colleges in India and abroad. The DAV College Managing Committee is the executive Body of the DAV Trust and Management Society .It conducts the day to day affairs of the society. It controls the administration and finances of its 667 institutions. It being a nerve centre, formulates the policies, plans and procedures to shape the destiny of the DAV network.
The current team of Office Bearers under the leadership and guidance of their President, Shri G.P.Chopra, is streamlining the administration by decentralisation.
Regular meetings of Office Bearers bring about meaningful decisions taken by consensus emanating from objective, dispassionate and unbiased considerations. The huge organisational set up is monitored by the following capable, experienced and dynamic personalities.
