On the occasion of Baisakhi students (Young Damsels of classes VIII-XII) presented a colourful dance. Shastri House apprised the students of the harvesting season and the spirit of celebration in the fields of Punjab- The gregarious heart of India.
Dr. Ambedkar Jayanti was also observed BY Shastri House students. The occasion was marked by recalling the immense contribution made by Dr. Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution.
Shaheed Rajpal Memorial Inter School Cricket Tournament (Under 18) was inaugurated on 8 th April, 2011. This is the third Tournament Organised by the school. In this 20-20 Tounament 8 teams from reputed public Schools of Delhi & NCR are participating. Match is played in league Knock out basis. Details...

Festivities in India are a reflection of the land’s ethnic diversity.The onset of the spring brings a new joy to the mind. Every year Shaheed Rajpal DAV Public school ,Dayanand Vihar celebrates ‘Basant Utsav’ with a theme that gives a fresh boost of motivation to the mind and soul. This year students celebrated this festival by recalling the martyrdom of Dharam Vir Hakikat Rai whose sacrifice has been a source of perennial inspiration for the young.
Senior students presented a short skit based on the saga of his life. Their performance re-vivified the spirit of integrity and courage that defined his character. In her address to the assembly Prrincipal Ms. Renu Laroiya urged students to emulate heroes like Hakikat Rai- folklores and stories of whose valor and exemplary sacrifice inspire us to promote
and preserve nobility in thought ,action and deed. These legends from the past are the foundation of the success stories scripted in the present
In- tune with the spirit of ‘Basant Utasav’ a colourful cultural programme was presented by the students. The school dance troupe gave a vibrant dance performance invoking the goddess of wisdom and knowledge
The celebration ended with a Prize Distribution ceremony .Students were felicitated for their achievements in various co-curricular activities held during the academic session 2010-2011
