Asset is the scientifically designed diagnostic test, which stands for Assessment of scholastic skills through Educational Testing. Every year 3,50,000 students from 1000 schools participate in this test. Top 1% students of every class in the country get a certificate of outstanding performance. Avneesh K.Sharma of IV B is also one of them, who got certificate of outstanding performance in Maths
Edu Excellence Organised National Creativity Olympiad in which students of S.R.D.A.V. Public School participated. In first round written quiz was organized and selected students qualified for second round. Second round was conducted at IIT Delhi. Apart from MCQ’s there was a subjective question on creativity and an activity to assess the achievement motivation of the child. Ishan of class X-E bagged First position. He will be facilitated during the International Conference on “Excellence in School Education” at IIT Delhi on 29th December 2011. He will receive Cash Prize of Rs. 25,000 and 1 year subscription of D2H (D2H is a self tutoring, self learning platform delivered on line direct to home). Also Harshit Rustagi (IX-C) and Namrata (X-E) made it to top 40. They will each receive cash price of Rs. 1000.
SCROLL OF HONOUR
Iken Scientifica-2011 organized a science quiz in which students of S.R.D.A.V. Public School participated. In first round written quiz was organized and selected students qualified for second round. Second round was a Hand-on workshop to develop model using materials available at home and kits provided to them. 32 students qualified for third round which was National level quiz in Mumbai. Out of 32, 6 students were from our school. 4 students won a laptop in the national level Competition held at I.I.T. Mumbai.

Bounteous Congratulations to PRAKRITI BHAT of X B for being honoured with the prestigious Times NIE Student of the year award. Apurv Sibal & Abhishek Ahuja of class X-G have cleared Zonal Informatics Olympiad for Informatics held on 20th November, 2010. They have qualified for INDIAN NATIONAL OLYMPIAD for Informatics to be held on 22th January 2011.
