The commitment of the school to academic excellence is reflected in the consistently outstanding performance of its students in the annual exams conducted by C.B.S.E. and selection of its students in various prestigious colleges in India and abroad. Vinni Gupta and Avhijeet Kapoor brought laurels to school when they were declared the East Delhi Toppers of AISSE (class X) conducted by CBSE in the year 2000and 2005 respectively. In the year 2005,our school’s class X result was ranked first amongst DAV schools in Delhi Zone and 41st amongst 300 DAV schools all over India. In class XII, we were 29th amongst 201 DAV schools all over India.
In the year 2007 and 2008 our school’s class X and class XII results were ranked 1st amongst DAV schools in Delhi Zone.
In the year 2009, the school has been once again once again placed in very good category with second position amongst DAV schools in Delhi Zone in class X and XII.
In the year 2010, the school has been placed First for class XII and Second for class X amongst DAV schools in Delhi Zone.
With the introduction of Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) by the CBSE, the new curriculum aims at integrating continuous evaluation of scholastic and co- scholastic areas of learning.
The school ensures that learning doesn’t end with evaluation but it leads to identification of specific needs of an individual, followed by remedial measures.
Promotion Policy - Promotion is granted on the basis of the whole year performance of the pupil. Hence the importance of regularity in attendance and work is a must.
